Where Stars are Born!

History

Stephens Elementary School opened January 2001 and is located at 3700 West 18th Street, in Little Rock, Arkansas. The school was named for Ms. Charlotte Andrews Stephens, a prominent educator (teacher and principal).

Reading, language arts, math, science and social studies serve as the main educational components, with art, music, physical education and computer literacy rounding out the curriculum.

Stephens also has state-of-the-art technology: 3 - 4 computers in each classroom, 28-station computer lab, Distance Learning Lab, Cyber Time & Space Travel Theater with, Comparative City Studies Center, Banking Kiosk, School Based Health and Behavioral Clinics, Barber Shop, Arcade and Library Media Center.

Uniforms:

Red, white, light blue or navy shirts or blouses. Navy, black or khaki shorts, pants, jumpers, and skirts. Plain, dark colored jeans can be worn anyday with a school sprit shirt.
